Portrait sessions of your children is the best way to capture how they have grown! From when they were sleepy, little cubs to the hilarious cheeky monkeys that they become! The best thing about your child is that he/she has their own personality and every day they show you something new. I absolutely love capturing their personality and habits on camera and love it even more when families recognise them immediately in their viewing!

My portrait sessions incorporate a variety of props, which include light and airy backgrounds to fine art set ups. I enjoy natural expressions as much as posed ones and I always leave it to the parents to decide what direction they would like the shoot to go towards. If you are unsure, then we can plan it together. We will discuss what set ups you would prefer prior to your session.

Outdoor, location shoots are something that I also do, base within Coventry. We will discuss where to shoot; my preferred spots in Coventry tend to be Coombe Abbey and War Memorial Park, where there is enough space for your little ones to run around and enjoy themselves. If this is something you would prefer, please let me know and we can arrange it accordingly.

A portrait/family session will last between 1-2 hours, depending on how well it goes. It also includes family and sibling pictures, too. Before your session, please could you make sure that your little one has had their meal and nap (if they have one); this is to make sure that they remain as happy and hyperactive as possible! I always plan shoot times around naps and working hours; the happier your baby, the better the pictures!

Please bring snacks/food, water, milk and anything else you think they may like to keep them going as it can be quite tiring being a model! If you could also bring any outfits that you would like them to wear for their shoot. I can also provide outfits as well to suit set ups. If you have any keepsakes, please feel free to bring them with you.

The most important thing to me is to make sure that your little one is having a good time and I always encourage short breaks and plenty of crazy sounds!
