I was looking back on pictures from last year to add them to my ‘lockdown memories’ folder and I didn’t realise how much the little ones have grown! Last lockdown was quite amazing (compared to the 3rd one we had). There was sunshine, BBQs, gardening, no home-schooling and a lot of family time. We spent a lot of time growing fruit and vegetables and enjoyed watching the kids pick and eat strawberries straight from the garden! I wish I had my camera out a lot more to document every little thing!
Always take pictures, even if it’s just on your phone and not the best. Time flies so fast that you will always regret that you didn’t take more. And better than that, make sure you’re always in them, too! 🙂

Little Aveneet’s 1st cake smash went amazingly well. With parents who aren’t afraid to get messy, it made it all the more fun!

I’ve been lucky to photograph Little Riyan since he was in his beautiful mummy’s belly! I’ve watched this handsome monkey grow so much in the past year, from a little peanut to a little man!
He came for his cake smash and it was cuteness overload! He smiled, he frowned, he laughed and he cried. But it was so fun and he had the time of his life, mostly when he got cake all over mummy!

Beeeeeautiful, little Olivia! <3 She is one of a kind, there is no denying that! Such a sweet and gentle little girl, always off on one of her adventures when she should be posing for the camera but that’s what makes her Oli!
I have always wanted to do a shoot like this. I asked mum what kind of picture she wanted of her and Oli and she said ‘nurturing.’ So when she started to feed, mum was happy for me to carry on.
I didn’t actually realise how beautiful and powerful the image was until I got around to editing it. It shows that mum is so confident with feeding her little one that she does not care who is around her, which is the way it should be. It shows the bond between the two. It speaks so many words!
This does not show that breast feeding is the only way to nurture your little one. It shows that all you need is love and nothing else. Never doubt yourself on how you are raising your baby. Always be proud and confident in what you want to do for your little one, just like this beautiful lady is proud to breast feed!
Never shy away from feeding in public and never feel that you have to justify why you are bottle feeding.
Breast or bottle fed, being fed and loved is the best
